Hi all, I would like to share my recent modding project. Which I've merge a Wacom Intuos3 with a MacBook.

Wow, nearly inspiration to do this myself. Although I may just spring for the real deal. It would be awesome to have it be portable (as in not needing to keep your Macbook plugged in).

Yeah, got a plan to do so, but by doing that I need to add a regulator chip on the firewire port to get constant 12V. The unit wasn't really that portable with all the metal & acrylic casing, that's the reason I did not put in the battery.

you might consider putting the battery in just for the UPS benefit.
