I have a ibook and a QuickCam Pro USB version and when I hook it up I get video fine but no audio. When I go to select audio sorce the only thing available is the internal CD-Rom drive. It gets the audio fine from the CD player but not from the built in microphone on the QUICKCAM. Can someone help PLEASE!!!!

As far as I know the QuickCam Web is the only model with a built-in microphone... According to Logitech's website the QC Pro is supposed to come with one of Labtec's external mics... obviously that wouldn't work.

Right, the QC Pro USB dosen't have a Mic. Are you saying that the Mic option is missing or you can't select it. How about in other application, can you see & select the Mic option?

I have this model and I gave up on it. The driver / software is junk. The only thing I can do with it is take snap shot. Any time I try to use the Moive feature I get an error the the "device can't be found"

IMHO, return it if you can. I wish I could.

You can try using ReelEyes software, there is a freebie available with limited functions. It saved my Phillips camera from the junk heap. Look at versiontracker for it.
