I have a PBG4 osx.1.5, 400, 512, 10g, and I just got a firewire 80g hd.

I want to move everything to the external, and then reformat and install jaguar.

What do I need to do?

I have already generally backed up all important data--but I have installed and uninstalled a lot of applications. I would like to just reinstall what I need, but don't want to get rid of anything just in case.

Any suggestions would be great.

I don't currently use any sort of backup software--most of my data are photo files

Thanks
CB

if you search this forum, you'll find loads of info and tips on backing up in general and specific to doing a format-install for 10.2.
