Hi,
I am in need of the service manual for the PowerBook G3 Firewire manual. Could someone email it to me? Somehow the service source website doesn't host the file anymore. My eMail address is: ptung07 (AT) gmail.com

Thank you very much!
Paul

Search the internet (google) for "powerbook_fw.pdf". You should find it no problem.

Don't start hacking about for no reason, OK? The Pismo is an amazing machine for tinkering with, but it can still break, mmkay?

Save a Pismo today!
My Mac is a Pismo G4/550: 1GB RAM, 40GB 5.4k, Airport, DVD-R, and still black, silent and curvaceous!

Just be very careful during disassembly. The plastic parts are likely weakened and may break during disassembly or reassembly. Don't torque things too tightly, just snug. Pay attention to screw length and style (there are only four main types, plus two oddballs and a nut).
