I miss the times when zimphire, cash, kelly hogan and theolein dominated. I visit (small) Dutch forums now mostly, though I know there are more intelligent ppl here.

edit : about "intelligent" : i mean that there are a few posters who are able to post high-quality posts, which are short but make their point. Conflicting opinions clash pretty well here.

edit 2 : not that cash had smart posts, they were just about cars and guns and the things he did

Ah, Kelly Hogan. When confronted with his own stupidity, would just start raving "Don't you know who I am?!" as if it made a difference. Not that he'd ever say, of course.

IIRC that account got banned, then he started using El Presidente and a few other names like Osama's Corpse or something. I'm sure he's still in the political lounge, ranting about Israel.

Misha was the man.

Newsfactor dealy spawned Demonhood and Tooki, and was rather entertaining.

But I have to say that I helped (and got helped) with Macs a million times more back when there was no lounge.

And didn't Ca$h68 get banned? Where is he now

Are you sure KH and dead boy are the same? One's a left wing nut, and the other is a right wing nut. I'm pretty sure that dead boy is pro Israel, and I think KH was anti.

Anyone here remember the thread "Cipher and Reader have no life". It was at one point in time the longest thread on MacNN!

OOOOOoooh speaking of longest threads....anyone remember those word association threads? aka: bump your post count easily threads

Right around the last time she was "seen" around these boards, she was pregnant. So, that might be the biggest reason as to why she's not around these days.

Though around the time she left there was a thread where she made some comments that many people did not agree with and they argued with her about it until no end. Her husband later sent out some private messages that did not contain kind words to some of those members that disagreed with her. One of those members started a thread about those PMs (which was later deleted in its entirety) and that's the last time we heard from her.

that was one way you could describe the kid. The other was hopeless.

Damn, he's probably almost 18 by now, wonder if he ever got the balls to ask that girl out?

Hey....what ever happened to your wife? Cheerios? I haven't seen her around for awhile.

Last I knew she got a new iMac from a dorm fire.

Heh, we were just talking about how people are going to start bugging us 'so when are you getting married?' at dinner tonight.

She's around done with school and just had her birthday. As for the iMac, her sister just inherited that machine and she got a dual 1.8 G5.

Ahh. Well you've got time. A friend who has been dating his GF for like 5 years recently sent me a pic of the ring he's going to give her. Now, if he'll just give it to her instead of holding on to it because he doesn't want to ask her and then have to wait 2 years to get married...

Sooo, when are you two getting married?

Ah, somebody pointed me in the direction of this thread... it's certainly been a while, but I've just had a lot of stuff going on.

Uni saps a lot of my time (though not as much as World of Warcrack), as does just general garbage.

The past week has been somewhat insane, and I'm on a bit of a breather at the moment. A close friend just died from having her drink spiked, and I just got back from the middle of the desert (through a flash flood), etc... all within 3 days or so. You can imagine how the rest of it's been. Hence the short break from reality to make a post or two

Glad to see you all miss me so much. I love you, too, Superchicken. *tear*

Unfortunately not. I remember there being some pictures of him at MWNY some years back. He was certainly a real (albeit pathetic and unjustly screwed over) person.
