both from crucial, it seems they are identical except the product part number. and the price, there is $60 difference! the more expensive one is recommended for the powerbook while the cheaper isn't.

I didn't see any major difference. Can I just go for the cheaper one?

I'd probably just get the cheaper one. If it doesn't work, then return it. If it works, you saved about $65.

But crucial claims "Returned orders not placed through the Crucial Memory Advisor may be subject to a 20% restocking fee." The cheaper one is not through advisor and the expensive one is. Is it a trick crucial use to get more money?

I recently bought some for my 12" pb. I bought kingston because they have a lifetime warranty and they were the cheapest. I had a look on the crucial site and i couldnt find anything on warranty. Which leads me to believe its only a year.
