I just got a Macbook, and want to transfer all my info from the old ibook to the new macbook. The Macbook is requiring me to hook up the two with a fiewire cable, and not the cat-5 I was hoping would do the trick. Any work around to this without having to buy a firewire?
Thanks

That'll take pretty long.
Use Firewire Target mode. Firewire the two together, and restart the iBook, holding down the T key. The iBook's HD will mount on the MacBook, and then you can drag and drop, with the speed that is Firewire
I love Target mode.
