I've just installed OS 9 into my B&W G3/450 and noow get type 2 errors when I try to launch Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop (occasionaly) and Quark 4.1.

Does anyone know of a solution or patch for these problems? Thanks in advance.

here's a possible fix. This works for me although I'm using 8.6. Remove your finder prefs file and restart. That should help. For whatever the reason it seems to me that the finder prefs file is much more fragile these days. After a crash or 2 I find that I start to get error 2 crashes especially in ie 4.5. When I dump the finder prefs file everything goes back to normal. hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply, Mark.

I decided to perform a clean install to try and fix the Type 2 errors, and so far, it has worked well. No more errors.

Thanks for the advice.
