DRAMA!
It's on all the news channels...waiting for the missing Michael Jackson. This is reminiscent of OJ speeding down the freeway.

Oh no! Something thrilling is happening, and I'm too lazy to switch on the TV. What an unfortunate situation.

MSNBC says he's a few blocks away from the courthouse and that he left the Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital at 8:45 AM PT.
Hahaha, he just lost $3million.

He has SO much make-up on. He has pajamas on!
Let's see what the judge does now.
Is Judge Melville really going to lock him up? His own lawyer isn't even looking at him.
Unbelievable.

One of the court reporters said, "Michael Jackson is now in the restroom."
Now he's just gone back into the courtroom.
Lock him up, I agree.
1 hour and 40 minutes late.

This is the kind of behavior that is probably driving his defense attorney crazy. First he delays the trial a week because he had the 'flu', now this. He's acting like, for lack of a better term, a diva. He's not exactly endearing himself to the jury who are inconvenienced enough to take 6 months off their lives to sit in this trial. He's not doing himself any favors.

His ex-rabbi is on television right now saying that MJ is doing this stuff because today is the day when the accuser delineates all of the actual abuse that MJ committed and that he thinks MJ is a sicko.
Nice rabbi.

If this is the case, I think it will backfire. Instead of them being able to plead insanity (which by this point he may very well be), I think the Judge will simply cut him absolutely no slack (we can hope atleast), and he won't get anymore wiggle room as has been granted to him...oh pretty much all his life.

The judge is now on the bench and is addressing the jury and is apparently telling them what is going on or maybe even why Jackson is wearing pajamas.
What a charade.

Who thinks he's going to be convicted?
Or, conversely, who thinks he'll be acquitted?

At this rate, he's almost certainly going to be found in contempt of court. Whether or not he's actually convicted for what he's being accused of, though, is anyone's guess. Personally, I suspect that the victim's family will mysteriously drop the case after Jackson adds a few zeroes to their bank account.

You know, Fox News just makes me sick. I'll turn to CNN for MJ stories. There's no need to be referring to him as "Jacko", it just sounds like a tabloid. Yea, he's messed up. Sure he's accused of molestation, but you can still refer to him by his name, not some title that reeks of a middle-school playground.

They're not allowed to are they? I thought CA had changed the law specifically to prevent a repeat of the Jordy Chandler scenario.
It seems pretty clear his team aren't in control of him. I can't imagine they would entertain letting him take the stand, but what if they can't stop him?

I think that the wide variety of awkard positions Jacko will be forced to assume in order to satiate his cellmates' desire for some androgenous whitish/blackish booty will only exacerbate his back problems.

It is, but it's still possible for the victims to request that the case be dropped. It doesn't happen often, but it occurs sometimes.

The judge deserves our praise for not allowing Michael to run this trial. Very sad.

Uhm, whatever you say there Johnyboy... Nice attempted alleged derailment of you.
Need attention?
My comment on the Thread:
Lock'em up! He should be held in contempt of court! Of course I state this based upon his other numerous circus-like actions in front of the courthouse, and prior to going to court.
-He supposedly had the "Stomach Flu"... there is no such thing as a "Stomach Flu". No such beasty.
-He stood on his car and made a scene, a mockery of the court! Remember that one?
-Showing up late all the time.
-Now with Pajamas on?

Stomach flu is often called "intestinal flu." It's an illness caused by a virus, and it can produce different symptoms in different people. Some people develop a sore throat, cough, and nasal congestion similar to a common cold. This may be what's called "upper respiratory flu."
What people call stomach flu is usually marked by nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, and a general sick feeling.
