That tab thing would be pretty tough. The type at the top of every window would still be in the center floating in midair. That wouldn't look right or even be visible half the time. I don't see anyway of getting around that.

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

Clearly you've never used Amiga Workbench.

Wasn't NuTech the first ever Appearance Manager theme? It was cool stuff back in the day.

As for the Amiga, click here but you might want to grab a vomit bag first...

I loved amiga workbench. Sure, it was ugly but it was bloody functional. And workbench 1.3's Shell is still 50x more powerful than cmd.exe is today.

You can't eat all those hamburgers, you hear me you ridiculous man?

I can think of severall 9 themes i would rather see ported than this. a couple are:
  • Dimple
  • Geometry
  • LCD
  • Surged
these were allways the most usable and best looking 9 themes (besdies the ones made by Apple).

A guy who called himself Seblon used to make a sweet theme named Lucent. If you're not into aqua-style gloss/glass themes, you wouldn't like it:

Lucent

Ok, now start adding your "burned retina" jokes

amiga workbench was amazing at the time, sure it was a bit ugly when you sit it next to os8 upwards but heck stick it next to windows and its much cooler had the single menu bar like macos, disks appear when you insert them like macos, could have absolutely HUGE icons and they could be "animated" so the directories were like drawers and when you clicked on them they opened, woo great stuff

Amiga fans live eh?

I'm not dissing the OS or it's functionality, just stating the obvious ... it's disgusting to look at

However, Amiga OS 4 looks like it is capable of looking decent but my god some of those appearances are down right stomach turning.

Wood menus with grey square buttons and a cloud texture for window backgrounds?

See for yourself
