With version two of Adium is there anyway to view away messages?

Nope, there's still no way to view other's away messages. I'm sure it's already been suggested to the developers, but you can always add it to the requests thread in the Adium forums. And yes, it is sweet.

Yes, it is possible to view away messages, but you have to compile it yourself and hardcode your screenname in. Works really well.

yep, its just an alpha. once libgaim gets finished, then it should be a standard option. fun stuff

Do you have a link or a guide explaining how to do this? I want to view others away messages. I am using the most current build for today, and it has lubgaim support, which has this built in, but it has no profile options for libgaim yet (the GUI isn't there yet). Any help is appreciated.

Although the current builds do have have libgaim in there and therefore, we can see away messages, profile support is not in there yet unless you compile and edit the source files. Go their their forums for more information (Do a search).
