I believe in the Finder, the Desktop, Library, Sites & Public folders are from WOA.

Located in /System/Library/Core Services/Menu Extras/, show package contents on any .menu file and the resources will be available there for replacement.

Alternatively, you can use any number of apps to do it. iColon & MenuPics come to mind. Search for them at VersionTracker.
