I'm extremely surprised by the Billy Graham quote. Not that I don't believe it, but I'm just surprised is all. I had a much different impression of him...
HOWEVER, that being said, one should keep in mind that the only person who knew they were being recorded was Nixon. A lot of people say things off the record they'd not want quoted, including myself and many of you.

I'm MORE amazed that Graham felt that comfortable with Nixon in the first place....but I guess truth is stranger than fiction.

The nuclear weapon quote does NOT surprise me at all. I'm glad he was convinced otherwise.

I hope that at no point in my life I am held accountable for off-the-cuff remarks I made 30 years earlier.

Maybe they should think about giving him another Nobel prize.
