Nice topic...
My turn:
I have 2 Macs and a external 500GB HDD plugged to one of them.
Sometimes I also connect my Xbox 1 (through SMB) to this HDD using the Mac
who has the drive plugged to it as a bridge. Everything works fine, but
sometimes, even after I have shut down the Xbox, my Mac Mini says it can't
eject the HDD because it is still in use.
Is there a way to KILL the all the SMB connections and shares
via terminal? I don't like to FORCE a device removal by turning the
HDD off without disconnecting.
Sorry for my poor english!
