My Beige G3 266 Minitower will not run Apple Video Player under OS 9.

But It does under 8.6 and earlier.

I can find no update, or alternative app.

Any ideas?

Hmm, not in my case. I have the same machine except Apple Video Player runs... it is a version that was installed with OS 9, version 1.7.3... try custom installing the player from the OS 9 cd... hope that helps!

Thanks for the tip.
I had to initialize the HD and then install OS9.

Works fine now.
