What the title says. There must be a browser out there that loads gmail in a snap?? Safari is hopeless with it - getting stuck on loading, so you can't just login and return later to check.

I had no issues with Firefox but I have moved to Mail.app.

Set up an RSS feed or access gmail through Mail.app and skip browsers all together.

RSS feed? GMail offers that? I use Gmailstatus to see what's in there but didn't know I could syndicate the feed...

Tell me more, please!

It has an rss feature in Safari 2.0 so I would assume it's a standard rss. Subscribe to it as you would a normal feed.

Firefox works great. For me, Safari doesn't work at all.

For some reason auto-complete for addresses has stopped working in Safari since yesterday. Works in Firefox tho.

Won't work for me. I am using Mail.app at home for gmail, but here at work, I most certainly don't want to download private email. Opera 6.0.3 so far seems quicker. I wonder why I stopped using this. Must've been Pithhelmet or lack thereof...

Safari works just fine, and I'm happy. Using POP with Gmail would make it pointless to even have a Gmail-account.
Still waiting for that IMAP-support..

JH: Just clear your Safari browser cache and auto-complete will work again. I ran into this recently and dug up the answer in googlehelp.
