command-shift-3 will take a snapshot of your screen. Command-Shift-4 will let you take a snapshot of a particular part of the screen. If you do 'Command-Shift-4' and then press 'Space' you will be able to take a snapshot of a window (The mouse will turn into a camera. Just click on the window you want to snap.).

Cheers,
- Daniel

Cmd-Shift-3 works (again) since 10.1 I think.

I love those little haxies that sit in my menubar and keep me informed as to how my processors are running (Ceepeeu) and now Netmonitor for network access. All I need now is a utility to let me know my disk activity. Is there anything like this?

Sweet pics guys. I found an older thread about this same topic that had a ton of pics but most of them wouldn't work anymore. Give me another 2 months and I can finally put my OSX desktop up.
