my friend has an imac and i have a mac g4 that came with a disc for os 9 and 10.
how do i do this?

i assume you mean you want to install 9.2 on the iMac, from the G4 cd? if so, i doubt you'll get very far, as a message will pop up, telling you you can't use those discs with that machine

try looking on ebay for an OS 9 cd, which is untied to a specific machine. or, uhh, "borrow" one from somewhere
