CD-R Support in 8.0/ wont read burnt disks

	Whenevr i burn a cd on my imac and place it into my performa 578 running 8.0 i get a this cd is unreadable by this computer. Wierd that it reads other cds, like my WC3 cd, and others. So how can i get my dumb old mac to recognize my burnt cds im putting in. Cause im trying to play some old games, so any help would be much appreciated!
