I started this last week when the alienware theme was a hot topic.

But rather than do a direct rip, I tried to take the 2 sides of the idea that most people seemed to like. Heavy Dark and Stark Light.

This is a tip of the hat to the inspiration, but I am trying to create voice of it's own. I think it is heading in the right direction. Maybe. Still a work in progress.

Hopefully when I am done with the little details, I would love to team with a themer who has put these things together before. The software and I don't get along that well unfortunatly.

Take a look. Love it, Hate it, whatever. This is my second theme that I have done for OSX (conceptually) after switching from PC themeing.

N.Joy!

Hal!

Great start to a mock-up!!

Suggestions:
1. Match the color of your menu highlights to the rest of the theme (ie: Apple, Finder buttons, and window widgets)

2. Match the rounded rectangle shape for the finder highlight

3. Work on several blue gradients for the window titlebar, to match the white overlay that you have on the black. It looks choppy and not quite as smooth.

4. Find a image of the Calabi theme for visual reference for the blue/black, might help.

<<these are my suggestions and only suggestions.. this is positive feedback and not harsh criticism..>>

I hope that you continue to work on this!!

I am slowly refining this beast element by element.

I hope that things are looking a little bit tighter. I think they do. I will be moving on to other aspects of the theme.

I will try to make daily or every other day updates.

As I come close, I will also be looking for someone to hook up with to help me make this thing a reality.

Wow! Lookin' amazing!

To dislike Sinatra is a sign of highly questionable taste. To dislike the Beatles is a serious character flaw.

I'll be happy as long as it features some sort of AI bomb like thing: man tries to close a window "I don't want to close that window, why should I close the window?"

GAH!

I thought this would fade away.

I actually have another update with the buttons being pressed. I think it look sreally cool, but the jury is still out on that one.

As for the time this has taken, well, you know how it goes. Work and life get in the way.

Actually since I design all day, when I come home to see what kind of state this is in, it turns me off. But I will churn it out.

I will post the update as soon as I add something else that makes it a notable update. Tonight or tomorrow, but I am hoping for tonight.

Glad you still dig it.

Best, H!
