So I have been waiting for Merom and upon its release (hopefully in the next month) I think I am ready to take the plunge and replace my 15" 1.5 GHz powerbook, but I have just a few questions first regarding the current Yohan Macbookpros:

1. For anyone that owned the 1.5GHz powerbook, can you notice a significant change in how fast webpages load?
2. How does the heat compare to a 1.5GHz powerbook?
3. Have you tried Star Wars Battlefront or Command and Conquer Generals on the new machine?

doesnt that depend on the internet connection you have?

I use to have a 1.5g4 and is about the same heat just my opnion though, i have noticed many people have diffrent views on heat issue.

3. Have you tried Star Wars Battlefront or Command and Conquer Generals on the new machine?

I have tried them both and work flawlessly
