So, I ordered a MacBook Pro from the Apple Store in Ireland at 2pm yesterday.
It's now 9:30am and it's just been delivered.
The delivery man looked like this...

Wow that's the fastest turnaround I've heard.
Makes sense not to go the CTO route if you can swing it. Speeds up delivery and allows you to easily exchange the unit if there is something wrong with it.
Which model did you pick up?

Yep, it's a standard model - 15", 2.2 GHz, 2 Gb, with no mods. Silver, not desert sun yellow ( ). Prolly explains it.
