OK, I had this problem with 6.2.1 as well. When I enter a URL and press return ... nothing! What the hell? Even in OS X. I just got 6.2.2 today and it's much faster than 6.2.1 ... but I was only able to go to the Netscape home page. I almost considered using Netscape, but this is just irriatating. I'm sure it's something simple I'm missing, but what is it?

Well, back to IE. It's still got the better graphics engine, always a plus.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I've been using NS 6.2.1 on and off for some time and I get the same problem of not going to the entered URL. My only solution at this point is to use the "Go" button at the right of the URL box.

My problem with NS 6.2.2 is that when I try to download it, the process begins great...find the file, start to download and in a matter of moments my download rate goes from 6-4kbps to under 400bps, and continues to drop. I'm using Transmit 1.6 to download.

Any idea of what is going on? I've tried 2 different ISPs same problem.

It is a known issue in Mozilla.
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90337

and has been patched. Netscape nor Mozilla have implemented the patch yet. It is due for Mozilla 1.0 I believe.

A good solution for now is to delete your profile in the Mozilla directory located in your "documents" directory. That will resolve it until the patch prevents it from happening.

I had the problem, deleted my profile and made a new one, and never had the problem again.
