It seems that my post yesterday didn't come across the way I intended it to. I thought I was being humorous with suggesting that Cody, of all people, could be a pet bigot, but on reflection I see that the rest of my post messed that up pretty badly.

I still say that all the bad things attributed to domestic cats are not because they are cats, but because most of the time people who keep cats don't do so intelligently or well.

Everyone who owns one is infected with a parasite, their house stinks (though every single owner will swear "My house is clean" and they don't realize that it stinks), and they have a creature that sheds hair everywhere. They all want to live soulless lives in depressing little cages, being taken care of for free by the government, and squawking with joy as they defile themselves over a liberal newspaper.

Acknowledged. Never make a sound in front of a parrot that you don't want to hear endlessly! Mine makes fart sounds, belches, says "bleccch" and "barf!", but also says cute things like "hi" and "I love you".

There's something about a talking pet that is so unique.

However, some birds are cuddly. Cockatoos are probably the most. They are little love sponges. You would not believe how soft their feathers are!
