Hey all,
what software and or method do you guys use for project management? I'm starting a job where I'll be heading the IT dept for a new company.
I thought of MS's Today included with office, but it doesn't sync to my iphone. I know that if I want to have catagories show up on my iphone then I need to use ical, so using entourage for email and calendar is out. What else is out there? I've googled some but just can't seem to find something that works for me. Anyone?

Backups are like guns and condoms. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

So this is for you personally, just to keep track of your projects ?
No need to collaborate ?
Do you need detailed features like GANTT charts ?
If not, a simple and effective (but powerful) tool is OmniFocus, which syncs to the iPhone.
It's based on the GTD paradigm.

I think I found something I like, notebook from circus ponies. But to answer the questions, yes I need to collaborate with about 6 other people on various parts of the project.

Ah, it appears you're looking for personal task management more so than project management. For task management, I've been using Things from Cultured Code.
If you're actually looking for PM software, OmniPlan is also a good one.
