It took them long enough:

Although b/c the PC versions were completely compatible with the Mac NWN, I wonder how well it will sell? It took entirely too long to port what should have been a simple installer.

Better late than never. The expansions are worth every .

actually, i think there was a previous thread here that mentioned that you can actually use the PC version of the expansion packs for NWN to install into your mac.

All you have to do is to download the NWNAutoUpdater from versiontracker and install it. this nifty program will help you download the latest patches and updates, and even help you install the PC expansion packs properly into your mac.

You don't even need the updater if you don't really want to use it (although it's a nicely done app, so I don't see why not). But that was my point behind the post - Macsoft waited way too long to get these ported over when there were other ways of playing the expansions.

I'm sure at some point MacSoft will bemoan the lack of sales on the expansions. Truth be told, I drug my feet on picking up the PC expansions, just because I thought I would rather support a Mac developer with my purchasing dollars. Oh well. Picked up both PC expansions a while back, played thru 'em, enjoyed 'em. Would have been easy money for MacSoft...

Side note: anyone participating in any of the PW's out there? Good? Crap? Any insight would be appreciated.
