Hehe,

only 60 C warmer than here, it was around -20 some time ago, but has risen to a wussy -10.

As a tribute to Australia, I might just arrange a backyard barbie next weekend - it's actually quite fun on a sunny, superbright-exponentialized-by-the-snow day.

One day, I'll fly over.

Did that last week. Went to the local farmer and bought a whole bunch of hay bales for seats, covered them with old blankets, got a couple of dead trees for firewood from a tree surgeon (seriously, they're glad if someone takes them off their hands, otherwise they have to pay for disposal) and lit the barbie. Mulled wine and glogg all round. Great fun, huge hangovers.

Sure, since all the ships are frozen anyways into the ice, why not arrange a little walk and meet somewhere in the middle. You bring Koskenkorva vodka, I bring Viru Valge vodka - helps to keep us warm.

It REALLY is a shame I don't ski. Got to find me some good snowshoe trails and soon, because, jeez. You never know when this crap might melt on ya.

I'm going to pull your head off because I don't like your head.

The weather in Toronto is currently partly cloudy with a temperature of -11C. What really matters is the wind chill, which to anyone baring flesh feels closer to -20C.

We received about 15 cm of snow late last week and into the weekend, and are expecting a further dusting as the week progresses. North of the city there's a base of snow perhaps 30 - 50cm deep. On the plus side, this means more sleigh rides for my daughter and (come the weekend) more skiing and/or snowmobiling for me.

It's cold in New England. With a chance of everything coming up soon.
At least at the Asylum, they treat me with respect.
