I don't know about anyone else, but I am very possessive of my tibook, and especially hate it when I have iTunes running when I have a few friends around, and they INSIST on 'playing around' with the book 'just having a look' as they like to say!
Is there a way to 'lock' or put some kind of security (even as simple as a password) on the rest of my folders and hard drive while iTunes is up and running, so I don't have all these people wandering around through my work?
Tah,
SS Maman

Easiest way is probably to setup a second user account, with your itunes libary in the public folder. When your friend come round you just login with the 2nd user account.

Just put a password on the screensaver and enable a hot corner - anytime you step away from the PB, simply drag the mouse into that corner.
Or... tell your friends to keep their fingers off.

If you open keychain access in the utilities folder, select "show status in menu bar" under view. If you need to lock the screen, you can do so from the menu bar.
