Hi there,

I was wondering what you thought about a 12" 1ghz/combo that goes for a $1099 on the apple website. Is $850 a decent price that you would pay for it? It is used but in excellent condition.

I bought an airport extreme card for $50 so time back, so it would be $900 for the ibook. I also have a 512 chip lying around.

Please let me know your opinions.
Thanks!!

Hi,

Thanks for the reassurance!!

I am needing another laptop because I just traded my 17" powerbook.

Besides the screen, which I will need to get used to, how similar will the performance of the ibook be with a 17" rev a 1ghz powerbook?

Thanks for your help!
