candybar crashes + backups messed up

when i launched candybar today, it asked me about replacing backups [i think memory stick and smart media] and then proceeded to crash on me.. i have the latest [2.6.1]... i tried replacing the app w/ a new downloaded one, but after it loads the icons it just crashes...

You may have done these:
deleted the candybar prefs?
Ran the Candybar restore to get everything back to normal and try again after a restart?
I am clutching at straws - I have never had CandyBar crash on me - but now I just use it to create the icontainers that I import into SS to make the system changes.

i havent done anything since i changed my system to aqua neue + angelo...
probably 3 weeks??
maybe 10.4.7??? i have to clue..

k trashed plists & ran icon restore
when i opened it, candybar asked if i wanted to join the elist. i clicked "cancel" and candybar crashes.

k even after appzapping everything + re installing, it does the same.
