I just want to find out who's happy, upset or otherwise. Discuss.

Me? It's the best phone I've ever owned, bar none. I've owned so many cell phones over the years, I've forgotten just how many or which ones, and the iPhone does everything I need for it to do and then some.

Is it perfect? No, but nothing will ever be. A few more firmware updates and we'll be sitting pretty.

The iPhone is the best phone I've ever owned. I travel frequently and no longer need to carry my laptop, my iPod and my phone. Now, make it with a better camera and I can truly have an all-in-one device.

I'm quite satisfied with it. I'm resisting the urge to upgrade to the 16 GB model though

The best device I've ever owned. Naturally, it has it's flaws. For instance, it won't do my dishes or laundry, it does not print money, it will not make my computer faster, and it hasn't assured my candidate of choice to the Presidential run.

It's camera will take pictures of flying pigs though.

In all seriousness though, It does everything I want it to, and it does it more gracefully than anything else I've seen. I've run into occasional battery problems a bit as I use it as an iPod all day at work (this has been mostly resolved though by turning WiFi off), and I would prefer a little more storage (as offered today actually), but it's been wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.

I go to a small liberal arts campus. I'm always pulling out my iPhone for various reason: to surf digg.com, to look at calendar, to listen to podcasts, check my email in between classes, and of course call. I hope my fellow college-mates don't get the wrong idea like I'm showing off or something. Actually, since I'm paying $60 a month for this, I'm trying to get the absolute most out of it that I can so I use my iPhone as much as possible.

Yes, very happy. I use it for surfing and podcasts while commuting during the week. Can't imagine using anything else.

It's really good as-is.

It'll be fantastic as it evolves through software updates (copy/paste, integration with Exchange servers) and hardware upgrades (3G, more RAM).

The "phone" part of it isn't great, but the Mail and Safari clients are awesome - true mobile internet and e-mailing

I should vote again since even my wife loves this phone. I can name problems with it like everyone else such as speakerphone volume is weak, but overall it is an amazing phone.

Best phone I've ever owned by a factor of 100. As said before, there will always be things to improve upon, but this is as close to a perfect cell phone as I've ever seen.

Regardless of people's unreasonably high expectations, I think Apple hit it out of the park with the first version of the iPhone. When I think about what this thing will be like in a few years I get all choked up.

Best phone ever - funny story from class last night:

We were supposed to look at images from a web site (some art gallery). Anyway, the pc couldn't get a wifi signal, so as we all sat there waiting I pulled out my iphone, got great signal, called up the site and loaded the images. Five minutes after I was finished the laptop got a signal, then started downloading at modem speed (for some unknown reason).

We all laughed and just passed around the iphone so the discussion could continue. We gave up on the laptop.

This phone rules...

Ditto. It's a great phone, integrates seamlessly with my Mac, still pleases the snot out of me with its sheer beauty and just plain works.

And I don't care about 16 Gigs. I'm waiting for 3G. C'mon, now!
