so i have a disgusting video in the history of my windows media player 9
unlike quicktime videos which has a function that allows you to clear the menu
i don't see a way of getting rid of this particular video.
i've tried throwing all of the window folder away but taht won't even work.
i downloaded a new version... BUT IT'S STILL THERE!

HELP!

Have a look into <yourhome>/Library/Preferences for the Windows Media Player preferences (you can sort that folder by date to help find it). Trash that preferences file and see whether that got rid off the history.

After that uninstall Windows Media Player 9 by trashing it and its browser plug-in. It's totally outdated. Install Flip4Mac instead:

Windows Media Components for QuickTime

Since this uses the QuickTime Player you will be able to delete the embarrassing video history the usual way.

Yep - delete WMP, and never think of it again.
