Anyone know what's causing this?

This happens when I try to view images inside folders as a slideshow. It used to work fine on my G4 iMac, but on my new Mac mini 'it just doesn't work'
I'm not very clued up technically, but I'm thinking it must be something to do the mini's graphics card not being able to display the images properly on the 23" ACD. Although I'm surprised at such horrible results!

Mac mini specs:
1.42 GHz
1 GB DDR SDRAM

It might be a bug in OS X... Does it happen if you select a lower screen resolution?

It's likely to be a bug. Report it here :

http://www.apple.com/macosx/feedback/

I guess noone ever tried to use a 23" with the Mac mini...

I wouldn't just file a bug report, I'd take it back to the Apple store and get another one.

I think it's a bug myself too, not the monitor. Everything else is perfect with it, not a dead pixel or flickering or shimmering pixels as I have seen reported elsewhere.
I would maybe take it back to an Apple Store if there was one handy, but I bought it online and I'm in Scotland, the closest store isn't convenient to drive back and forth to.
I'll file a bug report

Hi
I get the same thing with my 20 inch ACD in Mail and in Finder. I don't know the cause of it but when it happens i click on Close and then open again in Slideshow and it opens properly.

This happened to me when I was showing my mom a Mac mini at the new Apple Store in Nashville. I was going to tell an employee but they were all busy at the time. I closed it out and relaunched it and it worked fine. Weird.

I have a Mac mini as well. Slideshow worked without problems on my regular screen. However, when I updated to a large widescreen with resolution 1920 x 1200, my slideshow screens look just like the picture that honz posted. I´ve tried to close and restart the application, but that did not make any difference. The only thing that seems to help is to lower the resolution...
