I would believe this is another of those "I heard it on the Internet so it must be true" urban legends.. If you do your homework, you will find that Kerry received more MSFT money than Bush..

So Microsoft bribed both the Democrats and the Republicans. How does that change that the second Bush became president (and I think this would've happened regardless who became president) nearly everything about the case was dropped, new lawyers brought in, and then Microsoft got a simple slap on the wrist. Hell, they practically got rewarded.
