Well first off I have a 466 ibookSE and I am running Mac OS 10.0.2. My problem is that when i use itunes or other sound producing software I notice that lower frequency sounds do not come out as strong as they sound. In other words my bass is gone? Anyone have the same problem? Know of a fix? thanks, CA

I noticed the same thing - as soon as I applied the patch I started getting spooked by little sounds coming from my computer. I later realized that it was the regular system sounds sans bass. At any rate, if iTunes still had an equalizer I could change it there. I don't suppose there is a nice little plist somewhere that has the system eq settings?

LOL
Soundjam for OS X had/has EQ capabilities, and there's is a filetype for them in iTunes. There may just be a way to do it.....
