wait for microsoft macintosh business unit to release a *real* release of IE, not one that looks like it was made by interns as a training exercise. *grumble*

EI worked better in previous builds. I suggest you use Omniweb 4.0cf3.

Yes. I have the same problem. Hopefully in the full release of IE it will be fixed.

I wouldn't mind seeing Netscape X version soon. I don't know about Net 6, but a carbonized 4.72 would be nice.

I also think that IE for the Public Beta worked better. It did crash once in a while, but overall it seemed like it didn't have half the problems this version has.

i can't actually copy anything from IE 5.1, not text from a page, not text from an input field, URLs...

Omniweb, mozilla, icab... i would gladly use any other software, but everything else I have tried crashes or halts on trying to access my bank (javascript, ssl). don't know why.

I find that IE (aside from the copy thing) works better than 5.0 did in 9.x. not the end of the world, but pretty much works most of the time. I've only had one need to force quit it compared to the at least once a day in 9.x.

I can copy thing from anywhere in IE except text in fields. I'd use Omniweb, but to me it seems somewhat slower then IE.
