Hi all,

this thread is in danger of getting lost in all the Lion hype but I gotta ask what I gotta ask.

Anyone ever found or heard of a way to index XFS volumes with Spotlight?

It turns out the spotlight index is what allows the Finder to show dimensions of video files or pictures under the previews or 'more info'. Spotlight only indexes HFS+ volumes so NAS units will not show this information. I could really use a workaround if anyone knows of one.

Thanks.
I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....
