TV on my Mac - How do I do it?

I'm wondering what hardware I would need to watch TV on my computer.
I have a PowerMac G5 with dual 2ghz and 1gb RAM.
Can I watch TV on the computer without having any cable hook-up in my house?
Just not sure how all this works so any advice would be appreciated.

Several of their products let you tune in free over the air analog and/or digital TV.

Assuming you have broadband, iTunes allows you to buy many TV shows the day after they air. No antenna or cable subscription needed. CC with US billing address required.

if you DID have cable at your house, you could hook up a SlingBox and use the free (Mac, Linux, Windows) SlingPlayer client to stream TV to your computer. They also have a Windows Mobile, and more importantly, Palm OS client so on your Treo (or HTC or whoever) phone can stream it as well

makes tv tuner products for Macintosh that would also be good for your G5, and use over the air or cable connections.
Or you could try Joost, or one of the other IPTV type services.

Save your money. You can watch most any TV online for free these days. Many on the networks' own sites.
