Karl Rove, King George's Wonder Boy, is resigning, in order to "spend more time with the family," which is a nice way to say it's time to get out of the kitchen, 'cause it's hot in there. This should also give him time to look for those missing e-mails.

And let me guess, you can't think of anything stupid things the Republican candidates are saying/doing?
You can set your watch to the predictability of the partisans in here.

I'm pretty sure the turnover percentage in the Bush administration at this point in his last term isn't much different than the average. In fact, I think I read somewhere that his overall turnover was pretty low. Otherwise, I think that the "sinking ship" metaphors are pretty silly. The "ship" may very well be "sinking", but I don't think whatever turnover this late in his presidency he has is any indication of it.

Having a Masters doesn't mean one is capable of being the leader of a country. It doesn't even mean they may be good at whatever specialty they got their degree in. It simply means they absorbed enough material to pass knowledge qualifications in a particular field of study, and in no way necessarily translates into qualified action. Strawman.

Just curious, would Bush have gone to Harvard without the help of his daddy Bush Sr?

As far as I know, Harvard is not known for handing out degrees to Conservatives. His education does not qualify him for service as President, but his having been elected does.
As for the subject of the thread... Rove is only as important as y'all have made him.

Considering that Bush Sr. was just a lowly congressman at the time, probably.

I agree.
But what it does mean is that the person in question has an above average intelligence, likely higher than most of the people who wish to call them "dumb" and lacking a brain.
Not being the best communicator in the world does not make you "dumb". It may make you a poor president though, since a good part of your job is to communicate your ideas to the American people. This is were presidents like Reagan and Clinton excelled. The ability to communicate properly is easily one of the most important tasks that a president has to be able to accomplish. Regardless of his "intelligence", Reagan did it better than anyone and had huge achievements. Some of our smartest Presidents have also been some of our biggest disasters.
If every person I ever met who communicated awkwardly where "dumb", there are alot of "dumb" people out there in higher education, research and science.
The idea that Bush is "dumb" is just so juvenile. I mean...really, if a person where intelligent themselves, they could do a lot better if they were looking for points of criticism. Every time I see someone seriously talking about how "dumb" he is, my impression of their own intelligence drops considerably. That's not the case when I hear other valid points of criticism.

John Kerry had a lower GPA and a lower score on his OCS exam. That why he did not want release his school records. When asked by Tim Russert about his lower OCS score, Kerry's reply was "I must have been drunk the night before the test"

And what exactly does John Kerry have to do with this thread, except to attempt to induce the usual deflection of the issue?

That people call Bush dumb and with out Rove, helpless. If he is dumb that makes someone with a lower GPA dumber.

So? Bush is president. If Kerry were president I'd say the same thing. That doesn't change the fact that it has nothing to do with this thread. Bush got to be president by virtue of having been born into a politically and economically connected family, even after stumbling through life until he was almost 40 years old. That he somehow made it into the White House twice says a lot about how little people actually know about whom they're voting for, and how gullible they are. That's not something to be proud of and advertise, and it certainly doesn't help our standing on the world stage, where we are becoming a pariah and where our importance in the politics and economics of the world are slowly but surely diminishing.
