I think it's a bit scary as to my own addicting with these forums, specificly the lounge. I checked every 5-6 minutes to see when the 10 minutes would be up.

I do think it was a bit more than 10 minutes, tho.

Sorry. I promise I didn't do it on purpose. I thought I hit it just one but it seems I got a DP. Technical glitch perchance?

Also, it keeps saying:

This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 29 seconds.
....but I promise I haven't tried to post anything in MANY minutes.

Doing it again. I promise I am not posting the same thing over and over. Seems all my posts are being duplicated.

It's a bit of added loveliness for vBulletin Windows users who don't know any better. If this were a Windows forum, you'd be going on about what a great new look it brings to the page. I'm sure it'll get edited out.

It is just part of the 3.6.2 upgrade icon set, I guess the macnn crew have to whip a few new icons to match the current style we are all used to, unless a major facelift is upon us.

Well what you don't understand is the administrators did their work to the essential MacNN severs from a chamber that blocks time (or chronitons). This meant that, while they did 10 minutes of work (from their perspective), 5,000 fat bald people panicked because they couldn't snipe each other over the internet for almost 12 hours.

I'm actually quite pleased with what I was able to accomplish in only 10 minutes.

5 hours of work, 2 loads of laundry, shower and 8 hours sleep.

I'm hating the new forum design... it's so OS 10.2... we should just go back to the pre- 10/17/2006 forum design.

The new quote button is large, out of place and simply weird. On a seperate note, has anyone else noticed how the forums have gained sentience? vmarks started telling me about it before he suddenly disappeared.

I don't like how it shows the thread starter under the thread and to the right of it.

No problem, you have another "10 minutes" to get things working again.

haha, I have no idea what you've done. All I did was a little java script to max the window size to the monitor. I left all other bits on, address bar, status bar etc...

So, I did the math.

The average life expectancy of a hamsptor is 2-3 years.

Could that explain why 10 hampstor minutes equal several human hours ?
