After a week with 10.2 ichat has yet to connect. I do get an error message saying that the connection was unexpectedly lost but if it is connecting it is for less than a second. This is for both my aol account and the mac.com.
I spoke to apple tech support who suggest that I reinstall 10.2
I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions. I've dumped my prefs for ichat which did not help.
I should note that adium has been very unstable since this upgrade (I did a clean install) - I can connect but I am getting a lot of quits.
Never had this problem before.
So my question is does anyine have any ideas about ichat.
and can I reistall ichat without having to reinstall 10.2 which I really don't want to do .
(and why is adium so unstable).
