The search box isn't visible in my Safari.

Works in Safari, but Camino is still semi-broken...
Dragging in Camino (0.8.2) will result in the map moving in the opposite direction.

Try the url with Firefox -- you get more choices on the right hand side of the page.
So I would say that Safari almost works.

Well, those are just example searches though. Otherwise, the content on the side of the page works fine (say, when you get directions from one location to another) and the whole things appears to work extremely well in Safari.
Google Maps is fantastic! I can't believe they made something like this to work in a browser.

I'm really happy to see Google Maps work in Safari now. It tromps all over Yahoo Maps and MapQuest in terms of visual quality. The fact that Google is interested in making it work and look proper in more browsers than IE6 is truly awesome.

Hint: to open an URL in Safari, do this
tell application "Safari"
open location someURL
end tell
Just open the script using Script Editor and change the part to use the code above.

Awesome, Camino 0.8.3 fixed the dragging functionality.

The dragging is botched. I tried to drag America away and nothing appeared where The Rest Of The World is supposed to be.
