In the wake of Apple revealing 2014 models, refurbished MacBook Airs have received substantial price cuts. 2012 models are now as cheap as $599; that gets buyers a 11.6-inch screen, 4GB of RAM, a 64GB SSD, and a dual-core 1.7GHz Core i5 processor. Several other 2012 and 2013 configurations are also available, with improved screen sizes, processors, and/or SSDs. The shift may be important in that Apple has never before offered the Air for so little money. While the 2012 models are no longer competitive with comparably-priced Windows laptops, they are now the cheapest entry point for people wanting a Mac aside from the Mac mini, which was last updated in 2012.
All refurbished Airs are tested and include new one-year warranties.

Yup, they've already been cleared out. I watch for the Minis and they disappear about as fast as they show up, too.
