Currently there are a few Rich Internet Application (RIA) Platforms available Flex, Ajax and Laszlo.

What is the general opinion on RIA's? Overall which one is the best RIA Platform? I don't have a particular application In mind just yet. I'm just interested in the technology.

i don't know about best but flex is for 'rich' people and ajax is free.

I'll second Ajax. Just because it has better, and more helpful, community support and also Apple is supporting Ajax -- take a look at Apple Store, they've done some pretty cool things with Ajax.
