I have used this phone in Germany for the past few months, slight use. Selling the phone, I'll keep the sim card and contract. Comes with box and all original accesories (sp).
Looking for about $250 or Best offer.

pss........here in the US, you can get this phone at BustBuy for $69 NEW, after rebate
|
Personally I find it hilarious that you have the hots for my gramma. Especially seeins how she is 3x your age, and makes your Brittney-Spears-wannabe 30-something wife look like a rag doll who went thru WWIII with a burning stick of dynamite up her a** :)

Yeah, but that is with the phone locked to Cingular. Of course you can unlock it but it will require some tinkering on your end.

Yea, but who else would give you such a cool phone for such a cool price, with great service, reasonable calling plans, AND rollover minutes too ?
And in case you're wondering, yes, I have service with Cingular and love it. Been with all the other carriers, and they are not any better or worse, other than NOT having rollover

is this phone unlocked? is it branded to a specific company?
$250 is fair depending on shipping charges to the US.

They don't lock phones overseas like they do in the states. I can swap out sim cards depending on what country I am in. Shipping to the USA would be about $9 for USPS Priority.

$69 at BestBuy is with a 2 year contract, I'm sure. This phone, youre getting with no obligations. To buy it outright would cost around the same.

I have a contract with T-Mobile Germany... my dilema is that when I move to the UK in two weeks I will have to get a new phone with T-Mobile to change contracts from Germany to England. So the phone really won't do me any good.

What I mean is does the phone display "T-Mobile, T-Zones, etc. etc." or is everything Motorola branded?
I have Cingular and they plaster Cingular and MyCingular, etc etc. all over the phone software.

I am going to bed, feel free to ask away.

so whats your point ?
What good is ANY phone without service ?
So why not get one that comes with a great deal on the phone, and great service too ?
Do you seriously think Bestbuy or anyone else will let you walk in, buy a sim card, and just walk out WITHOUT activating a service contract ? Not in this lifetime
And BTW, BestBuy is one of very few places where you can smooze your way into only signing a 1 year contract, instead of 2 years like everywhere else.......if you know how........
Anyways, my real point is that if you really want this particular phone, then you could get it cheaper by getting it with new service

That $69 price is for new customers only, not people who are eligible to upgrade. He's targeting his phone to people who already have a current contract and maybe want a better phone but don't want to sign up for another 2 years of service or are ineligible for an upgrade. His phone's definately worth more than $69.

Thanks Tomkos.
Pay as you go has not hit the states yet, not like in Europe any way. I could take this phone, sell it to Mr. Schmidt down the road and he could go to the market and buy a sim card and use the phone. I would take it to England with me, but it won't do me any good. I will have to get another phone and contract with T-Mobile to void my Germany T-Mobile contract. Plus I want the ROKR.
