i got a used powerbook duo 2300c on ebay...it has os 8.5 on it and for some reason i can't get the modem to work on it...it can't seem to find it. so i have found a few articles online about how 8.5 doesn't include "telecom". but also when i look at the apple system profiler the modem doesnt even show up? does anyone know any good old external serial modems that would work with this duo...since i dont have a duo dock it would have to be in the modem control panel as an acceptable modem..thanks for the help guys.
