Hello, i just recently installed 9.1 on my Performa 6400/200. How can I get Remote Access to make my Geoport/Express modem work? If RA doesn't work, what PPP program can I use??? Please advise!!!

First piece of advice would be to use a subject that's relevant to your question. If your subject said 'Geoport/Express modem on 6400 w/ 9.1', you're more likely to get a worthy response since people who have experience with such a setup may read the post.

Many users won't bother reading a post who's subject is generic since 9 times out of 10 they won't have an answer.

Bunky:
Just choose the "GeoPort/Express Modem" in the Modem Control Panel, enter your ISP Configuration in the Remote Access Control Panel and you should be fine.

I've already tried that and it doesn't work.

The following might not apply due to my 6400/200 w/ 9.1 using the USB GeoPort modem, but it worked for me: 1) Dissable the " Internal modem extension" and the "Apple G3 Modem" extension. 2) Change modem script to "GV Flex V.90" 3) in Remote Access...Options...check "TCP header compression" and "connection automatically" also, DO NOT "Allow error correction". Hope it helps. Peace.
