How is this a bug in Safari? Must be a problem with your de-metal program. Remove that.

Well I did remove it, and all the safari files, and now I can't install it anymore ! So, it is either a bug in Safari app or the Panther !

no it's a bug in your metal program OBVIOUSLY. because it worked before you started Fing around with your system didn't it? The fact that it doesn't still work means that you don't know how to uninstall files correctly.

I GOT IT !
All you have to do is download safari again, when you have the safari.pkg, click with right buttom, SHOW PACKAGE CONTENTS, and go inside the folders and look for InstallationCheck and VolumeCheck files and delete it, and save changes and exit, now try double clicking on the safari.pkg and there you go !

It is a BUG on the safari.pkg !

Well I just fixed the BUG on SAFARI and installed it perfectly, so I guess you DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT !
Don't you know how to discuss in a civilized manner instead of ofending people.

Ps: This message is being typed on the SAFARI WEB BROWSER !

Both sides of this argument are pointless. Don't insult people for asking questions. And don't think everyone has to answer your questions and that "Junior members" are less than "veteran members" or whatever. I know plenty of "New members" that are much smarter than me.
