(I posted this yesterday but that thread seems to have disappeared.)
The Apple USB Keyboard that came with my Power Mac was terrible. Some keys are half-size, some keys are in the wrong place, and some keys are missing. I replaced this keyboard not too long after getting my computer.
My replacement keyboard, Macally's iMediaKey, is also terrible. Although it has every key in the right place at full size, it has a mushy feel to it. This slows down my typing significantly.
I need a keyboard to replace my replacement keyboard. Specifically, I want:
- a USB keyboard
- a Mac keyboard (Windows keyboards have a slightly different layout and some keys have different names)
- a non-ergonomic keyboard
- non-mushy keys
Any suggestions?

CompUSA usedI'm not sure if they still stock it, but the keyboard
was great, it was a Mac keyboard (with a open Apple/command key),
it wasn't ergonomic and had the keys had the solid feel of IBM and
Apple keyboard of years past.
MacAlly used to make a similar keyboard, but from thier web site, it
looks like that model has been discontinued.
Another possibility is to get a good ADB keyboard and use it on your
Mac via the Griffin iMate:

Sorry, I forgot to mention one thing. I don't want a wireless keyboard because I don't want to worry about batteries.
As for your suggestions:
That Logitech keyboard has a Windows layout, which is a little makes using it somewhat frustrating when using it on a Mac. Also, it's wireless and I don't want that for the reason I already mentioned.
The "Generic Blue and White keyboard" you saw in CompUSA's Mac section was an iKey from Macally - there's also a gray version. Its keys are just as mushy as my iMediaKey. Not good.
There are some issues with using an ADB keyboard with an iMate. My mom bought that very adaptor so she could use her old keyboard with her iMac. It seemed okay until we discovered that the integrated touchpad didn't always work (required a restart to get it to work again) and it wasn't possible to start up with extensions disabled.
I am not considering the Apple Pro Keyboard for a few reasons. First is because there is no space between the function keys and row below them. I often feel that area to find out where the number keys are. Second, it's overpriced.
Are there any other suggestions?

It's not so apparent in keyboards, but the latency of wireless peripherals is still there. Batteries are a hassle, too. They're just not worth the premium for a slower product.
