ruby, look at the topic "snow, snow, snow, by ca$h, there is a post from "jwild" that stated something about getting rides from cute boys because of the snow. now, that doesnt necessarily guarantee it's a girl posting though... ........but i'm sure you can't be the only girl in here.

As far as I know, andy-pandy can also lay claim to higher than average levels of estrogen (average, of course, referring to the people that visit these boards)...

Girl here, too. Although I read just about everything on here, I try to be more selective about which threads I post to. I don't generally have anything to add to the kind of comments Ca$h makes.

Now that is weird. Every other forum I've ever been to, you mention girl and Mac in the same sentence, and courtship begins. Oh well, I guess I can't blame anyone, I'm guilty myself, the thought of a member of the opposite sex, who is also interested in computers gets me pretty excited, what's more, a girl that's into MY type of computers is even more of a rarity. I had to train my current girlfriend into liking Macs.

Another One... But I am more of a silent reader. I post only when I have a usefull coment to make or when I have a question.

My Grand-Mother always use to say;
It is better to be silent and look like you are stupid than open your mouth and proove to the world that you really are stupid...(translated from french).

Ca$h should really read this one.. or maybe one day he will grow up and figure out by himself...

Yes, another female here. A card-carrying Mac addict, happily married to a Mac man :-)

Misha. Don't delete this. To the stupid woMEN up above: What comments might you be talking about? As far as I'm concerned, I've not conversed nor posted to anything started by either one of you. What does that mean? Your opinion on ME is based on someone elses opinion. Way to go sheep.

Jennifer,

Your name is fine except for the fact that I makes you sound easy. You can't expect the sarcastic bastards who populate these boards not to comment on that. BTW way, I'm sure you're not easy, I'm just playing devils advocate here. I think its great to see how many women are here, it gives some balance to the tone of conversation and keeps this from being a "boys club" Going off topic a little, I wonder what the ethnic breakdown is, are we mostly "white" or is there a little color in the stew. If anyone wants to comment, please step up. (I'm not a racist, just curious)

P.S. I'm a twenty-something white boy

Jennifer

i really never expect everyone to know the difference between 'typical' and "wrong"

according to a recent poll, there are more females who use the internet than men, so that ratio should be constant on this message board too.

My opinion of you is based solely on the things you say.
What I tried to say was I prefer to read and learn rather than post my opinion
and I don't generally have anything to ADD to the kind of comments you make.
I don't think that makes me stupid I think it makes me wise.
